J, they use a Solvothermal synthesis. Definition: A synthesis method for growing single crystals from a non-aqueous solution in an autoclave (a thick-walled steel vessel) at high temperature (400 deg. C) and pressure. ID: CMO:0001458. Synonyms: solvothermal method.

They use a pressure cooker. Can't make much that way. Lets see them automate first.

I have seen triangular QD, and Tetrapods are similarly built, so I do believe QMC could make triangular QD if advantageous. It would be a variation of a tetrapod in that case.

However, a bigger challenge in my mind is how and whether cubic perovskite can be made into a sphere and shelled. I saw a paper with a sphere perovskite, but I don't know how it relates to the common cubic perovskite. Looking for answers. The perovskite PR seems to say the QMC QD have the same characteristics as all their others, and therefore would be made by the same CFP method. If so, is it a totally different type of Perovskite? I don't know.
