Look at the audiences behind Trump. They are there for a reality show of insults, invective and stupidity. Mouth breathers, knuckle scrapers, HS dropouts and Stepford wives, the lot of them.
It's what weak and stupid people do because they need someone else to express the rage, faux grievances and bigotry they can't express 'freely' in their shitty jobs or even at family dinners anymore, without being ostracized.
But of course they can come to this board, to embarrass themselves.
