Alpha Capital Anstalt is a Lichtenstein-based hedgefund owned by Bawag, an Austrian bank. Alpha was listed as one of the companies that the SEC charged recently as being involved in some pump and dump schemes along with Frost from Ladenberg Thalman:

Bawag bank seems to be involved in some shady deals. Of course I guess any penny stock-related financings are often a little shady:

None of this might matter- they may not be involved at all if MTS does a deal with Amarantus, but I was thinking maybe they could be a source of some of the funds for the $600k or the $5 million.
