It's not the 'use' it's the effect. Don't tell us with a straight face that you've never encountered a 'mean drunk', an aggressive obnoxious change in behavior, from some drunks.
Kavanaugh's temperament in that hearing was a window into his psyche. Weak, short tempered, hyper-partisan, conspiracy theorist is what we've now got on the highest court.
In other words the SCOTUS now has the smartest loud mouthed drunk in the bar, the guy who was standing amidst the not so smart Trumpanzee voters.
