$LWLG (copy) If one has concerns that an investment Lightwave Logic is a gamble, you should probably come to the realization that it is -- similar to every biotech stock on OTC or even Nasdaq. The binary event that is FDA approval for drugs provides a 100x event or a $0 endpoint. Much like LWLG, which will be based on whether the tech is adopted, not whether or not the technology is incredible (it is).

What I like about Lightwave Logic are some of these features:

--Setting goals and exceeding them (examples: successfully testing 25Gb and 50Gb modulators)
--Presenting meaningful data (<1 volt) without overselling
--Allowing potential customers the benefit of secrecy, as in not detailing every aspect of our technology to improve share price (enabling best in class technology at launch)
--Conservative approach to spending (No debt)
--Keeping outstanding shares to a minimum (76 million currently)
--Knowledgable and trustworthy executive board (the Lebby/Leonberger combo should be all the convincing anyone needs)

One of my concerns is that silicon seems to be more readily accepted as an alternative. Thankfully, the last presentation elevates one of the greatest features of polymer photonics in that it can be fully integrated into existing tech as well as advance and scale on its own.

The only way to leap past competitors will be via a prototype in the hands of customers. The fact that they continue to reiterate this will happen before end of year bodes well.

Not having PRs is fine by me. I'd be more interested in finding out what the participants' response to the <1 volt data spec was during the presentation than simply sending out a PR, which would have been preaching to the choir (us). Customers need ALL of the specs. And that will be the prototype itself.
