When I left California after two years in a beach town 1970's
and going to sleep with the salt air and fog in the window
and the sounds of the surf every night - i smelled the ocean
for about two weeks in my sleep back in Indiana. Then one night
i woke up realized it wasn't real. Never smelled that ocean again.

Well I did have a serope and sand in my jeans for a long time.
