Well BudLightyr I am not aware of the article you are referring to, but it makes no difference at all whatever that article says. The fact is Univec does not produce pot or any other cannabis product. Instead, they developing or have developed a transdermal patch that will incorporate cannabis, and that cannabis is cultivated and processed by someone else, in this case AGRiMED, SATIVEO, or HCI. So why would anyone know about Univec at a corner pot shop or even a cannabis shop for that matter.


As for the corner shop knowing about AGRiMED. Bear with me here for a minute because this might take a little explaining. AGRiMED is a biopharmaceutical company involved in "BRANDING" their product. That product is pharmaceutical grade medical cannabis products of the highest order. So here again, why in the world would a corner shop even know about them. The corner shop is certainly not selling their products next to the pot pipes and bongs. Also, while they could produce cannabis to help supply the Canadian market, they would need to be very careful so as not to hurt their reputation or "BRAND." The biopharmaceutical medical grade brand does not mix well with the other companies selling marijuana.

Now, CBD is different because it can be sold at the corner shop. However, to our knowledge, AGRiMED has not begun that business yet.
