Trips? I think it is time for some people o the board to step away from their computers.
Newsflash.....shit happens in business. I deal with the aerospace subsidiaries of GE, Honeywell, Lufthansa, etc. on a daily basis and guess what....they screw up their shipments to me sometimes. It could be a paperwork error, parts damaged in shipment (100-2000x more expensive than the $300 Odyssey) or THEY SHIP THE WRONG PARTS.
Since I value my business relationship with these companies I can tell you the first thing I do isn't blast their mistake out on social media.....I work with them to mitigate the adverse impact on my business and my customer if I already have the part(s) sold.
It is how ANDI/UTOP recover from these mixups (assuming this was not a deliberate attempt at stock manipulation) that will determine if they will be successful in the long run. In terms of building a business this level of adversity is child's play and in the long run if ANDI/UTOP is successful will be chalked up to a learning/training experience by their internal/external shipping department.
Further, all we have to surmise ACI is a legitimate distributor of UTOP phones is a tweet....in the real world there are legal agreements that will govern any distribution relationship.
Either way, ACI has clearly shown me they are not a beneficial "partner" and as such if I was Mr. Keer I would cancel any distribution agreement with them IMMEDIATELY. Clearly, they are not professional and at a BARE MINIMUM have gone out of their way to hurt ANDI/UTOP.....at least in the short-term.
Before people start throwing themselves off a cliff like lemmings let's all take a deep breath, step away from your computers for a few hours and spend some time with people that matter to you, and let ANDI/UTOP explain what transpired....after all THAT is the company we have all invested in.....not the shadowy ACI who has provided no evidence of being a legitimate distributor other than a reply to one of their tweets.
Sorry, but I refuse to buy into the doom & gloom.
