There were some huge asks, 70-110k shares -- which disappeared the millisecond that some bids came in at a slightly higher level than the previous bid. They're just phonies, put there to scare the people who look at the utterly inaccurate Level 2.

I find the "Level 2" to be entertaining, but its value is in seeing things like those phony asks. It shows that "they" are trying to push the price down but do not want to actually sell any stock.
