THE RIOT ACT - We are honored to announce that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (Golden Globes) and the Motion Picture Academy (Oscars) have formally ACCEPTED "The Riot Act" for competition, and have scheduled the official membership screening. The title was previously entered into consideration for the Independent Spirit Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Critics have been drawing special attention to the performances of lead actors BRETT CULLEN and LAUREN SWEETSER. "The Riot Act" is adding the Harkins Bricktown (Oklahoma City) this weekend, and ten additional theatrical markets for Oct. 19.
