I may be wrong but Leo could have just continued with Aspire and sell more shares.He didn't,obviously .
My theory is that he used this finance deal to keep the opportunity to buy back and minimize dilution as opposed to just selling through Aspire which,of course,he would not be able to get back.
Getting back some is better than getting back nothing.
You may call it "toxic" but if Leo actually knows he has the near term ability to buy those shares and cancel them then it was a more astute move than the Aspire route.
Fortunately or unfortunately,we don't know what Leo and Dr.B.knows.
