You bloody well better believe that most of the American populace wants medical Cannabis to be legal and they are and shall impress their thoughts upon their government. They are being surpassed not just by Canada but also several third world countries. That's a bad thing for the economy, how many tax revenues are being lost daily by not legalizing? So yes, even a very conservative country like the USA will have no choice unless they care to get stuck behind the rest of the world.
