Takes a beating and keeps on ticking!.
ION, I watched the first episode of the new Magnum PI and he gets beat up repeatedly during the show. One scene two guys beat him to the ground and kick him over and over in a parking lot - its the second time in the show they had a chance to kill him but didn't, why I don't know. The point is, in the very next scene he and a friend are standing in a fast motorboat, and the friend says, "You should be in the hospital", to which Magnum replies, "I'm fine." LOL thats what your emoji reminded me of.
