Christoper Columbus sailed from Spain in 1492 to explore new worlds and to seek vast new wealth for his Queen, primarily gold.

I suppose most of us on this day are pursuing something in common by virtue of our collective interest in this investment here but do not have three sailing ships at our command. Perhaps our uncharted voyage shall also become of historic importance one day (in our minds anyway).
