I was hoping they would have had a 50th anniversary of Dylan's work in 2013 on TV, would have been huge. Some may have wanted to, but Dylan is a real private dude and might have said no.
Side note, The dude wearing the greenish gray suit with a tee shirt who looked like the director, but had a guitar was G E Smith, the musical director of Saturday Night Live back then and had married Gilda Radner , "Roseanne Roseannadanna" before she married Gene Wilder.
But yes, like an all star Rock and Roll Hall of Fame gathering. They even had a shot of Eddie Vedder on stage and he was just getting going in 1993.
