With Kowlgi currently listed on LinkedIn as working for UofT, and previously having been on QMCs' payroll, yet continuing to "collaborate" with QMC, I've come up with this for a possible hypothesis[?]:
Kinda seems like maybe[?] QMC could no longer afford Kowlgi, but didn't want to lose him & talked UofT into putting him on their payroll...with the understanding that he continue to "collaborate" with QMC & any patents he produces be assigned to UofT, with QMC being given first rights on licensing &/or re-assignment of those patents at a later date....a win-win so-to-speak. Just sayin'
The Krishnas' seem to have come a long way since their days of hanging around airports, dressed in orange
