Shame Trump nominated this guy. He probably would have sailed through confirmation hearings if Bush had nominated him. Trump is a cancer that the GOP (smartly) tried to avoid. Now that they are stuck with him, they are trying to make the best of it - mostly out of fear of losing their jobs. GOP took a huge step backwards with Trump and several more steps backwards with their own behavior. Sad
