One other thing I neglected to mention is that in the current geopolitical environment any company shipping internationally needs to be cognizant of increased customs taxes.
I have seen a dramatic increase in my costs associated with our international shipments and some countries are worse than others. The required paperwork (commercial invoice, customs declarations, etc.) must be totally on point to avoid these additional taxes. The good thing is again there are companies you can outsource this function to who navigate this hazard everyday if you don't have the capacity/resources internally.
As Trumpster cuts new trade deals with the EU, China, etc. this pressure on margins should alleviate.
