Everyone on a message board has an opinion. The following is mine. IPIX share price has been relentlessly attacked for several years and we now sit with the most advanced science in IPIX’s history of existence but currently our share price sits at 20 cents a share. Anyone who is looking strictly at the share price is missing the big picture. A pre-revenue biotech has to dilute shares to pay for expensive FDA trials and attract high level executives. To get 3 major drugs through phase 2 trials with only 165M outstanding shares is a remarkable achievement. The manipulators of this stock are struggling to get enough long term shareholders to sell their stock. There is no doubt that the shorts have made a killing from $4.93 to .20 but the recent takedown is designed to make shareholders with $1 plus cost basis to think “After seeing .19 if this stock ever gets back to .40 (or pick a number), I am going to get out!”. Most longs understand as shareholders we are sitting on valuable resources and will not be selling our shares at discount prices. This is what I believe will happen in what I break down into 4 steps:
