subsidies are what is paid for production , that is KWH of electric produced !!!
Depreciation is plant and equipment , the wind and solar both get depreciation of equipment but get a subsidies on power produced . Wind gets 30 cents per KWH produced and you pay about 7 or 8 cents per KWH

over in Germany they are shutting down about 30,000 wind turbans because the subsidies are expiring soon
