The Chicago Bears for being out in front as the league pushes forward with its social justice initiatives—the team’s players and management pledged $500,000 to local programs last week.
Linebacker Sam Acho, tight end Trey Burton, defensive lineman Akiem Hicks and quarterbacks Mitchell Trubisky and Chase Daniel were out front with chairman George McCaskey last week to introduce the effort, which will include ride-a-longs with local police in an effort to build a bridge between the team and law enforcement. Good to see it.
