I don’t think it is a surprise. If it surprises someone they really aren’t following the Company that closely. After that car wreck in DC where he was a no show at the conference, he really has been MIA since. When they announced a 50% pay cut, I wondered then why not just cut him loose. So IPIX has been kind to him. Keeping him on the BOD, not sure, what that will cost. He probably is needed in dealing with BP Scientists in current and future Terms.
