As I see it:
What is needed are people of Principles. That is what is lost in today's two parties. The party is more important than the Principles of right and wrong.
Money has always been the root of the problem. Ruling Class Families that can afford to run, control the parties.
November will bring the wrath of liberal women. The current billionaire in chief will be a lame duck that will fail to unite the country and set the stage for the 2020 backlash that will start the cycle all over again.
We shall need compromises in the days ahead, to be sure. But these will be, or should be, compromises of issues, not of principles. We can compromise our political positions, but not ourselves... Compromise does not mean cowardice. Indeed it is frequently the compromisers and conciliators who are faced with the severest tests of political courage as they oppose the extremist views of their constituents.
