Just called by Sen. King's DC policy guy. Was informed 99 other US Senator offices I contacted (by both phone and letter) followed SOP and inform Sen. King's office I had done so. Sadly, Pete Benoit informed me that the defensive software needed to secure the November election will not arrive this election cycle due to both the SAVE Act and Secure Elections Act (SEA) still being worked on in the Rules & Administration Committee. I saw this as an opportunity, and immediately launched into a discssion about MFA/OOBA anti-keylogging defensive software. At the end of my briefing, Pete fully understood the threat solution and stated "I will talk to Senator King about MFA/OOBA ." Pete gave me some solace when he reminded me, there will be a paper backup for the vote which will be audited for any tampering by: Russia, China, North Korea or Iran as warned by our National Security Advisor. He promised me a written response to my concern which I will, as previously, forward to our CEO Mark Kay, for his file of US Government responses. Don Quixote now has peace of mind knowing his tilting at the 100 windmills of the US Senate, in defense of the vote, has done some good. Long live the Republic!
