That quote fits in with Solterra's plans. Tandem layers would slow down any R2R QDSC production due to the need for each layer to dry, so the ideal would be to sacrifice efficiency for high volume low cost SC and make single layer QDSC.
Two more things - R2R FLEXIBLE solar cells are not constricted to 4x8 foot size. You can make any size solar cell, depending on the size of your printing press width.
So, if your width is one meter, at 100 meters/minute you could make 6000 per hour or 144,000 per 24 hour day. BTW and FYI, 100 meters/minute is ssslllllooooooowwwww.
