Cahaba, either you are trolling or you are ignorant about how business start-ups work. It would be totally counter-productive to approach Coke. Timing is everything and management has its hands fulls without trying to land a celebrity date. Once we're an established company, sure ... till then, it would be like wearing a big "I DON'T HAVE A CLUE" tee-shirt. Personally, I don't think Michael Welch wants to be wearing that.
Plus, do you seriously think Coke isn't keeping a very close eye on this market and its many start-ups? If Coke decides we're interesting, they will come to us. And the simple truth is we're not interesting yet. We're too young and unproven. We're one of hundreds of companies diving into this potentially very lucrative market and that's all we are at this point. Do we have reason to be optimistic? Sure. But let's get to be a $10-$50M company. Then we can start thinking about the Cokes of the world.
