Re: Chemdeps #48883
I have tried to nail down how long DD/final deal usually takes after Term sheets are signed.
Looking for DD as related to M&A in the Pharma arena and not other arenas (Real Estate, venture capital, etc.)

Best I have come up with is 45 days is pretty quick,90 days is quite long with the average somewhere in the middle.

Obviously we don't know when the Term Sheet was signed but if IPIX received
$2M for the 6/29 agreement with Aspire then maybe they might have used that to pay the CRO for the P results but instead, with a 9th inning BP bid for BOM AND IBD decided to agree to the Term Sheet signing and use the $ for the additional legal (etc) expenses of closing on a (likely) more complex deal agreement.
If that is the case, then it is quite possible that the Term Sheet was signed in early August.

Any thoughts?

Kelt
