Mike was a mercenary hired to clean the shell and likely arrange some sort of financing for the production of the phones & software....nothing more, nothing less IMO.
What successful operating experience did he have to speak of?
My guess is the plan is/was always to remove him just before the phones were to be rolled out and ANDI/UTOP steps into the spotlight.
Not a coincidence we get the "passed testing" from ACI and "Starkweather out" tweets in the same weekend.
