As someone that diagnoses & fixes their own vehicles...that small circuit board looks like an integrated control module of some sort to me. I've changed numerous ones similar to it that control your fan speed for heat/ac...your windshield wiper delay speeds & other auto cabin controls. Every one I've changed is very auto make, model & year specific & I don't believe any are considered "universal"...which tells me this one "could" be automobile make specific. Today's OBD ports (at least in the USA) are 16 pin "universal" ports...(the same on all vehicles)...which is why the bSafe/Fleet dongle can plug into any vehicle, post 1996 & sync up with the phone app. According to, what looks to be a metric ruler in the photo...this particular module seems to be 4/5 cm long (less than 2 in) & SB calls it a "2 part snap together product". I don't see the 2 parts...only the small circuit board with a white female plug/connector that has 2 prongs going thru the board that look like they want to plug into something...? Next to the white plug, there is possibly a 3 point male connector, or, it could just be solder joints...my ole eyeballs can't quite tell which. Those are the only possible contacts that I see on this board that would mate it into the automobile's system. Compared to the original OBD dongle...I'm not really sure what this particular gizmo is all about, but it definitely looks like it was made to integrate somewhere into some part of an automobile's ECM (computer) system...tho I'm not exactly sure where.
