Hmm maybe he ignored you since your confused who was the plantiff (Aegis) vs Defendent (Katasi-Cellcontrol). Katasi (copycat) tried to sue Aegis for infringement although Aegis wanted trial and knew they had invented the technology. I don't know what Katasi was thinking maybe they were angry with Aegis for purchasing fleetsafer and they lost the deal.

Aegis was a private company (would have performed better as public) the same mistake cellcontrol is making today having to reach out for funding. At its peak Aegis revenue was $27M, a $5M purchase was well worth it. Former owners made their money life goes on, but they failed to sell the product broadly in retail and were focused on Gov.

The best thing Steve Berman did was going public everyone will win.
