Kgem, politicians will soon realize not only the health benefits derived from cannabis, but also the taxes they will be losing to adjoining states. My county is a good example-we were a dry county, but legal to have alcohol in your home-how stupid. We had to drive to Birmingham or Huntsville just to buy beer or wine. About 6 years ago we went wet, and there are more very nice, upscale resturants, bars, etc everywhere. And our little town is booming-lots of tax dollars staying here instead of going else where. Same will happen with cannabis.
