Many companies will always being doing A/B testing all the time. Meaning, trying various versions of text, imaged, videos to see which works better than another. I think that's the fun part of Marketing.
The unicorn video was posted before with interactivity, then not, then again with from what I remember. Marketing departments want to be able to measure the difference. It stands to reason the one without the interactivity you will watch the video and then leave, where as the one with, people may actually go to their site.
Someone said they should have put the button more at the beginning. They may in other videos, but right now my guess is they want to see how many people watch the whole video.
The link you posted takes you directly to the video. They are using sprinklr to track where it is coming from. Because you didn't post the twitter link, it will show people coming in from iHang.
