I ended up outside of Midland Wednesday night because there was nothing in Midland. The people in Big Springs said it was due to oil boom and rates are about $600 a night if you can find a room. We got one of the last rooms in Big Springs for $200 and it should have been no ore than $50 imo but beggers can’t be picky. We saw a ton of workers and welders in the area.
