It's criminal. US needs to outlaw naked-short selling and really short selling in general. What is the purpose of a stock being shorted? If you really think about it, it's just evil at it's core.

Think of a stock as a human for a second, because after all, at most peoples core, they care more about their money than their families. The ones who don't, money is a close second to their families and their religion. With that analogy in mind, isn't short selling the government essentially allowing one investor to legally steal from another? Imo allowing shorting in the OTC is the same thing as someone coming up to you in public, saying I have more money and influence than you, watch me either:

1.) just blatantly take your money by crushing the stock
or
2.) trick you out of your holdings so i can accumulate cheap and then run the stock

I've been trading OTCs for 10 years so I know plenty. Still doesn't change my sentiments on how crooked and illegal I feel a bunch of the OTC BS is.
