Neither of the current bod members, IMO, would even qualify to sit on the majority of public companies boards. Both are fiends of the ceo. To say they’re independence is questionable, is an understatement, IMO.
Curtis did raise money and the venture failed miserably. No doubt damaging his reputation. Couple that with the current climate in regard to recycling just about anything, and it’s no wonder the funds have yet to be raised.
