Still think the rollout is going to be much slower than everybody expects. It always is. Corporate will want to see if the product sells before committing a larger amount of dollars to it.
I find it odd that the dealership said they needed to make their own displays. Thought that would be something On4 would provide for them? Sounds like a corporate co-op program MAY be in the works which course benefits On4 but will also cost them some money,
Your friend met with only the Parts department which is a logical starting point to purchase these units for existing car owners. Yet there is no mention of the Financing department who many claim will be the main sellers of this product to car buyers nationwide. Did your friend inquire at this dealership if both departments will be selling the unit?
