We vacationed there for a week around 1985 and it was beautiful. Loved Chinatown, the Presidio, the bridge, etc.
About 3 months ago, my granddaughter was there on a business trip and she could not believe it.
It was so bad they didn't even go out for dinner, ordered room service. She said she will never go back.
