You're not privy to the investigation, so you have no idea what the implications are for the Russian investigation.
It's not as though Manny didn't have shit load of Russian business relationships or that his tax shenanigans did not render him vulnerable to blackmail.
Why don't you just share with us the emails you're getting from Mueller so we can judge for ourselves?
