I figured you saw something. They may have left the calling part out as people would be calling for sure. If they got a 555 number then they would be BWing that it was fake.
There may be Legal or HIPAA rules around sending a photo, but it's a good idea. I think timing might be a problem. I still encounter doctor offices that won't even look at email and everything needs to be faxed.
