MEG Energy names former Pengrowth boss Evans as new President/CEO
MEG Energy (OTCPK:MEGEF) names former Pengrowth Energy CEO Derek Evans as its new President and CEO, effective immediately.
Part of Evans' 35 years' experience in the Canadian oil and gas business includes nine years as CEO of Pengrowth, where he left earlier this year, and six years as CEO of Focus Energy Trust.
Evans succeeds interim CEO Harvey Doerr, who will return to his role as an independent director of MEG.
