And yet the incumbency rate for Congress in the US is 90%. I think a lot of the problem is that we are all guilty not only political party tribalism but state by state tribalism. If people would scrutinize their own representatives first before pointing blame at "the other guys" we might start to get back from the extreme partisanship brink and have more honest and trustworthy people elected. Since we are not supposed to talk politics here, I wont say anymore than that.
