Re: greenmonster #6244
I am doing this from memory but I think it's something I noted before. Rory said on Thursday he was in Philly and from here he was on his way to Seattle for a big meeting that shareholders will be excited about and then will be presenting at LD Micro next week.
LD was on Tuesday and you would think he would be there on Monday to prep since they were doing the first ever livecast
That would mean the Seattle meeting was likely on Friday. So fly out Thursday afternoon or night for a Friday meeting.
I am still thinking this is two different meetings. Most big decision making is made at the main office. I've never asked a vendor to fly to two different offices let alone in the same week. It's a possibility though.
If we assume Rory is meeting 2-10 customers a week, it's reasonable to assume this was another big company in Seattle.
Back in the spring I seem to recall Rory saying there are a couple of other partnerships coming the like Oracle/Marketo. SAP and Microsoft would be a couple like. He also was in NY recently so maybe Salesforce is a potential, but I see more value for the other two.
Also notice Rory talking about notifiD and what's coming. Sounds like it's turning it into a product vs. a free or low cost add-on. Which company could benefit from something like notifiD? Could it have been they seen it and said please add these 5 things while meeting in Seattle.
We will find out soon.
