Compassionate use is intended for people with fatal conditions whose quality of life possibly would be improved by using the drug and who have no other good treatment options. Psoriasis is, thank goodness, not fatal. So no, they can't just start selling it.

Brilacidin-OM, however, is another story. THAT is something that they might be able to sell before approval, because people DO die because of OM (stopping chemo because they can't take the pain of the OM, for instance, or complications from OM)
