As I've said so often before, I think one of the problems with treating Alz is that it's actually several different diseases, with different causes, that are all being lumped together on the basis of symptoms. If only we had some kind of really accurate ways to separate out different kinds of basic problems. But when we don't even know what causes it, it's awfully hard to try to find some commonality in Alz patients that can be measured.
