AbbVie CEO Rick Gonzalez made comments at a Goldman Sachs conference last month about doing a deal of that size, Goldman analyst Jami Rubin said on today's earnings call. She asked Gonzalez to clarify those remarks because she said investors took that to mean a deal sooner rather than later. He responded that "there's nothing on the horizon right now," but if the company found the right deal it would pursue it.
