The big headline today is what appears to be BS about Biogen's amyloid plaque drug. This article deconstructs it well:

I note too that the crucial part of this drug's purported "success" is to get to patients very early. Well, unfortunately, most patients are not diagnosed 'very early."
Color me skeptical. I have much more hope for AVXL's possibility of success than in Biogen's drug actually being meaningful in the long term.
