Smart strategy on McAfee's part! As you pointed out, it gave them a great opportunity to field test everything before putting their products out in the civilian business & personal cyber security market! They were able to do so with much greater confidence, and minimal concern regarding the viability & liability of their products!

The McTrio of McAfee/Intel/TPG is a formidable force in the business world. They don't take their image lightly, and they would only put a product (s) on the market, assured that it is one of, if not the best in their respective field. I'm sure that they at some point will turn their attention to SFOR, regarding acquisition, and eliminate the 3rd party nature of their current relationship with SFOR. Just IMHO & dreams!
