Alan, this post isn’t about NS. Just want to tell you a little about my job. My work is biology-related. When I make a hypothesis, it’s my responsibility to prove it. Those data need to be SPECIFIC to the hypothesis, NOT just in general. I can also find related cases to support the hypothesis. If I claim something is true in my hypothesis just because it’s true in another case, I would be fired long time ago. I certainly wouldn’t accuse someone of not accepting my hypothesis if I fail to prove it.

Widely accepted theories all have indisputable facts. That’s how science works.
