What does it matter which few days, weeks, months ??

If it is pretty certain great news for $FOR is coming in the near future (which I believe it is), just buy and hold. Then you do not need to worry about jumping in as soon as news is released. Just relax and start enjoying life awhile.

I would not be at all surprised if the news catches everyone off guard when no one is expecting it.
