Stock futures steady; earnings, data in focus
Bank of Japan adopts asset-buying program; German ZEW upbeat
MADRID (MarketWatch) — Wall Street retreated to the sidelines on Tuesday after the long weekend, with investors poring over quarterly earnings reports and awaiting data on housing and manufacturing.
U.S. markets were closed Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average (CBE
